Winter Rosemary

Winter Rosemary was a valuable winter cultivar, at a time when properly preserving food was key to survival through the long dark. Tightly wrapping meat with the branches of this herb would ensure both its edibility for an extended period of time, as well as give it an earthen aroma similar to that of pine trees.
